Writing

I write across theatre, comedy, film, and prose, creating bold, playful, and emotionally grounded stories that explore imagination, identity, and connection. My work often blurs the lines between comedy and truth, drawing on my background as a performer to write with rhythm, character, and heart.

Theatre & Live Performance

My debut play Bug & Beetle was awarded funding from Croydon Council’s Legacy Fund and premiered at Croydonites Festival 2024, with dramaturgical support from award-winning playwright James Fritz and direction by Kay Michael. The piece explores childhood, creativity, and belonging in South London and is currently being developed further with young people.

This year, my short play The Decay (of Writing) was performed at The Bush Theatre as part of their experimental Alt-B programme. Previous theatre credits include Dirty (The White Bear Theatre), and the devised productions 00 (Edinburgh Fringe/New Diorama Transfer, Sell-Out Show) and Action at a Distance (Edinburgh Fringe, Lyn Gardner’s Top Picks). My earlier work, The Affected, headlined Norwich’s Feminist Festival at the Puppet Theatre.

Comedy & Sketch

Alongside my theatre writing, I create and perform comedy. I am one half of the duo RATBAG, co-writing our new sketch and clown show RatBag Presents… Ratmageddon (Work in Progress), which premiered at Leicester Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Free Fringe 2025.

I graduated from Soho Theatre’s Character Comedy Lab on a full bursary in 2024, where I developed original character-driven material that now feeds into both RATBAG and my upcoming solo hour. I have also produced and hosted Laugh Out Loud, a live comedy night in Norwich, and written sketches for The Three Jungs, an online series with Make It Beautiful Theatre.

Film & Screenwriting

I wrote and directed my short film The Young Professional with Make It Beautiful Theatre Company, which premiered at their in-house festival in 2021. My follow-up short, Backwash, was filmed in Norfolk in 2022. My short film script for the Rodcliffe Award was commended by BAFTA in 2024.

Prose & Adaptation

I am currently working on my debut novel, Calls I Didn’t Make This Summer, which received a bursary residency at The Grange in 2025.

In 2024, I wrote and edited The Selkie Story, a modern short story adaptation of Irish folklore self-published in January 2024.

Training

I hold a First-Class Honours Degree in Scriptwriting and Performance from the University of East Anglia, where my dissertation play Tribe was shortlisted for the Snoo Wilson Writing Award.
