Molly-Rose writes across many mediums, from short form comedy sketches to full-length plays and screenplays.

Recently, she was awarded funding for her debut play ‘Bug & Beetle’, from Croydon Council’s Legacy Fund which debuted at Croydonites Festival in November with Dramaturgical Support from Award Winning Playwright James Fritz.

This year, she has had her play ‘The Decay (of Writing)’ at The Bush Theatre, as a part of their experimental theatre night.

She graduated from SOHO Theatre’s Character Comedy Lab and is writing a comedy hour for show RATBAG which is going up to Edinburgh Fringe (2025).

She received a First-Class Degree in Scriptwriting from The University of East Anglia where her dissertation play ‘Tribe’ was shortlisted for the Snoo Wilson award.

Molly-Rose wrote and directed her short film, ‘The Young Professional’ in collboaration with Make It Beautiful Theatre Company in 2021 and went onto write BACKWASH which was filmed in Norfolk in 2022.

Molly-Rose also edited a short story adaptation of the Selkie Story in Irish Folklore, published in January 2024.

Molly-Rose is currently writing her debut novel, ‘Calls I Didn’t Make This Summer’.
