Molly-Rose Treves’ performance in Dream Machine was among one of the funniest performances I have seen in the theatre over the past year. Her comedic skills are truly unrivalled.
— BASIC THEATRE GUIDE

comedy

Molly-Rose originally gigged as a stand up comedian, running the popular comedy night ‘Laugh Out Loud’ at university. She went on to appear in the sell-out production of 39 Steps at The Maddermarket Theatre before heading to Drama Centre London.

Molly-Rose then started working with the award-winning Make It Beautiful Theatre Company on their Vahktangov, Clown Inspired comedy show ‘The Dream Machine’, a long-form improvised show where the cast take the audiences dreams and turn them into a whole hour, with live music and chaos plentiful. The show has toured all over the country and has a regular two-night slot at The Hope Theatre. This had lead Molly-Rose to working extensively as an improviser, doing improvised shows such as A Christmas Carol, Canterbury Tales and recently an R&D of Lorna Rose Treen and Jonathon Oldfield’s True Crime Improvised show ‘Criminally Untrue’ at The Pleasance Theatre.

Molly-Rose has recently transitioned to writing and performing as a character comedian.

Molly-Rose graduated from the Soho Theatre: Character Labs last year, and is now working on her debut show alongside performing as a part of the comedy duo ‘RatBag’ that are heading to Edinburgh Fringe this summer and have had previews at The Rosemary Branch and Playhouse East Theatre.
